Paloma Negra is a reinterpretation of the classic Paloma cocktail in modern bar culture. Paloma has long been one of Mexico's most popular cocktails, known for its refreshing combination of tequila and grapefruit flavor. But in the modern mixology world, bartenders like to reinterpret these classic recipes with different twists. Paloma Negra is the result of this approach.

The name "negra" or "black" comes from the darker and more mysterious appearance of the cocktail. Some bars achieve this effect with dark syrups, charcoal powder or special bitters. The aim is not only to change the color, but also to give the cocktail a deeper character. The freshness of citrus and the strong structure of tequila combine to create a drink that is both fresh and strong.

“Sometimes the strongest light appears against the darkest background.”

This cocktail has become particularly popular in modern bars and creative cocktail menus. It has quickly gained traction thanks to its visual appeal and the fact that it retains the beloved citrus balance of the classic Paloma. Paloma Negra is a good example of how traditional recipes can be transformed into a completely new experience with small twists.
