Terms of Use

1.1. These Terms of Use ("Agreement") are deemed to be concluded in electronic form between Cocktail Atlas ("Platform", "Site", "we", "our") and the person using the Platform ("User", "you", "your"). 1.2. "Platform" means the website, mobile application (if any), and related services offered under the Cocktail Atlas brand. "Content" includes text, images, recipes, comments, and similar materials created by users or the Platform. "Service" means all functions offered through the Platform (recipe sharing, comments, likes, profile, etc.).

2.1. This Agreement governs the rights and obligations related to the use of the Platform. 2.2. By registering on the Platform or using the Service, you are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted this Agreement in full. If you do not accept, you must not use the Service. 2.3. Persons under eighteen (18) years of age may not register on the Platform and should not use the Service due to alcohol-related content. By registering, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.

3.1. You may need to register to fully benefit from the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide during registration (email, full name, username, date of birth, etc.) is accurate, current, and complete. 3.2. You are responsible for account security. You must not share your password with third parties and must inform us immediately if you become aware of unauthorized access. 3.3. Only one natural person may hold an account. Corporate or shared accounts may not be used without explicit permission.

4.1. The Platform offers functions such as sharing cocktail recipes, reviewing, commenting, liking, and community interaction. The scope of the Service may be extended or restricted without prior notice. 4.2. The Service is provided "as is". It is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Access may be temporarily restricted for technical maintenance, updates, or compelling reasons.

5.1. Recipes, comments, and other content you upload ("User Content") belong to you. By uploading, you are deemed to grant us a licence to use, store, and display this content for the provision of the Service, including (where applicable) translation, summarisation, and categorisation. This licence may continue to apply to content still displayed or backed up on the Platform even after you close your account. 5.2. User Content must not infringe third-party rights (copyright, trademark, personality rights, etc.). If an infringement is alleged, a complaint procedure will apply; repeated infringements may result in account restriction or termination. 5.3. Logos, names, designs, and software elements belonging to the Platform are owned by Cocktail Atlas or its licensors. Unauthorised copying, reproduction, or commercial use is prohibited.

6.1. The following conduct is prohibited: (a) using misleading or false identity; (b) attempting unauthorised access to others' accounts; (c) distributing malware or attacking systems; (d) sending spam, advertising, or unsolicited bulk messages; (e) sharing insult, threats, hate speech, or illegal content; (f) disrupting the operation of the Platform or creating excessive load through automated means; (g) presenting content that promotes alcohol consumption or provides false information (users are responsible within the framework of applicable laws). 6.2. If prohibited conduct is detected, content may be removed, a warning may be issued, or the account may be temporarily or permanently closed.

7.1. Your personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation (including, where relevant, the Turkish Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698). For details, please refer to the Privacy Policy when published on the Platform. 7.2. Data collected during registration and use of the Service (e.g. email, name, username, date of birth) may be processed for account management, communication, compliance with legal obligations, and (where consent is given) marketing purposes.

8.1. The Platform is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or reliability of User Content. Users are responsible for their own content. 8.2. Alcoholic drink recipes are for informational purposes only. Legal drinking age and local laws are the user's responsibility. The Platform cannot be held liable for any harm arising from the application of recipes. 8.3. To the extent permitted by law, liability for certain types of damages, including indirect, incidental, or punitive damages arising from the Service, is disclaimed. Mandatory legal provisions remain reserved.

9.1. You may request closure of your account at any time. After processing the request, the account and (within the periods specified in our policy) associated data may be deleted or anonymised. 9.2. If conduct in breach of this Agreement or applicable law is detected, your account may be suspended or terminated without prior notice.

10.1. Cocktail Atlas may update these Terms of Use. Material changes will be announced via the Platform or by email. Changes take effect on the date of publication; continued use of the Service after publication constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. 10.2. If you do not accept particular changes, you may close your account and cease using the Service.

11.1. The laws of the Republic of Turkey shall apply to this Agreement. 11.2. Turkish courts and enforcement offices shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from the Agreement. If you are a consumer, your statutory consumer rights remain reserved.
