The French 75 cocktail is a classic recipe that originated during the First World War and is considered one of the most elegant drinks in cocktail history. The origin of this cocktail is often associated with the famous Harry's New York Bar in Paris.

In 1915, one of the bar's bartenders created a new cocktail by combining gin, lemon juice and champagne. The effect of this drink was quite powerful. The famous French cannon Canon de 75 modèle 1897 (75 mm cannon) was known at the time as a very powerful and rapid-firing weapon.

The drink was named the French 75 because the strength and effect of the cocktail was compared to this ball. Over time, this name has become a household name in the cocktail world.

“Some moments don't wait to be celebrated; what makes them special is that we choose to live them”

The French 75 holds a special place among classic champagne cocktails. The botanical aromas of gin, the fresh acidity of lemon juice and the lively sparkling structure of champagne combine to create a balanced and elegant drink.

In the 1920s, the bar culture in Paris was vibrant and many American writers, artists and travelers spent time in these bars. The French 75 quickly became popular and started to appear in cocktail books.

Today, the French 75 is considered a timeless drink, served both on classic cocktail menus and in modern bars. Thanks to its elegant appearance and fresh character, it is one of the cocktails of choice for celebrations and special occasions.
