The origin of the Screwdriver cocktail dates back to the mid-20th century and is based on a very interesting story. According to the story, oil workers in America started drinking vodka mixed with orange juice. At the time, the workers couldn't find a spoon to mix it, so they used a screwdriver to mix their drinks. That's why the cocktail came to be known as "Screwdriver" or "screwdriver".

The reason why the cocktail is so popular is that it is extremely simple and balanced. The neutral character of the vodka combines with the sweet and citrusy flavor of the orange juice to create a light yet refreshing drink. For this reason, Screwdriver has become one of the preferred brunch cocktails, especially in the morning and at lunchtime.

“Sometimes the simplest things create the longest remembered experiences.”

Over time, Screwdriver has inspired many different variations. The Greyhound with grapefruit juice or different recipes with liqueurs were born from the basic structure of this cocktail. Today, it is still considered one of the world's best-known and easiest cocktails to make.
