The Margarita is a cocktail born in the coastal towns of Mexico in the 1930s and 1940s, shaped by the warm climate and sea breeze. While tequila was the characteristic drink of the region at the time, the addition of lime and Cointreau created a refreshing and balanced flavor.

According to the best-known story, a bar owner or bartender wanted to offer a special drink to an American female customer, so he combined tequila, lime juice and Cointreau to create the Margarita. The name comes from the Spanish word "margarita" (daisy) and refers to the elegant, slightly floral and refreshing character of this drink.

“Each salty edge carries the memory of a summer day”

The Margarita quickly became an icon representing Mexico's bar culture. It has taken its place in summer bars and cocktail menus all over the world, especially in beach towns. The sourness of lime, the sharpness of tequila and the sweet flavor of Cointreau, combined with the salty edge, make you feel the warmth of summer, the beach breeze and social sharing in every sip.

In short, the Margarita is not just a drink; it is the symbol of a tropical culture, a summer ritual and a bar experience. Each sip carries the colorful atmosphere of Mexico and the friendliness of beach towns.
